There are other corporate programs that directly benefit the school sites and which are not

About Scrip
Piedmont's Scrip Committee hopes to generate over $150,000 this year to enhance our children's educations. With these funds, parent groups buy science and math resources, provide teacher grants, curriculum development, computers, art workshops and so on. These funds supplement state dollars, local taxes, Piedmont Education Foundation grants, and other fundraisers, at no cost to you! Money from Scrip is Easy Money!
When you or your firm buys groceries, computers, books, department store purchases, movies and videos, use scrip, and those vendors will earmark funds for Piedmont schools. We distribute these funds on a per capita basis to all six parent clubs. 
     
Scrip now comes in 3 formats: 1) paper & plastic scrip & 2) electronic scrip (eScrip) and 3) Scrip on the Web (Schoolpop & Escrip's on line Mall).
     
Paper & Plastic Scrip     
Shop at Piedmont Grocery, Berkeley Bowl, Mulberry's Market, Market Hall, Safeway, Long's Drugs, Macy's, Banana Republic/Old Navy/Gap, Williams Sonoma/Pottery Barn/Chambers/Hold Everything,  Home Depot, Barnes and Noble,Amazon.com, itunes, Jamba Juice, Peet's Coffee, Starbucks, See’s Candy,  using paper scrip, and you could be generating funds for our schools at no cost to you.
   
Vendors sell us certificates or gift cards at a discount, and we sell them to you at face value. Piedmont schools get the difference, varying from 2% to 23%. 
     
Use paper scrip and gift cards during the holidays (great for teens, teachers, grandparents, etc.), at back-to-school time, for Bar/Bat Mitzvah presents, on your weekly grocery run, for your next special event or team celebration. Or, sign up for a regular monthly or quarterly purchase: our volunteer drivers will deliver right to your door. 
     
Fill out the Scrip form for a special delivery or monthly delivery (at least $300).    
     
Now you can buy scrip at the Fundraising Office behind and below the Community Center in the Park (next to the Pre-school) 653-1816
 
Electronic Scrip     
 
Buy from Safeway, Andronico’s, Piedmont Grocery, Village Market, Payless Shoes and dozens of other firms, use your e-Scrip registered Safeway card, ATM or credit card, and you could be generating funds for our schools. See www.escrip.com for a complete list of vendors. How does “electronic scrip” work? See the following!
     
Register your Safeway Club Card, your creditand debit card, and now Macy's charge cards at www.escrip.com. Our school ID is 118394833. Use your cards with these firms and Piedmont schools automatically get a percentage. 
     
Register today, and update your account when you change charge cards. Sign up in the privacy of your own home. And eScrip won't share information about you with anyone! 
     
Between 1% and 8% of your purchase enhances the education of Piedmont kids, at no cost to you.  
Scrip on the Web
If you purchase from web sites of over 300 vendors such as L. L. Bean, Barnes and Noble, Apple and Dell computers, go to www. Schoolpop.com or www.eScrip.com (click on line Mall) on the web first, and you could be generating funds for our schools. See www. Schoolpop.com for a complete list of participating vendors. 
     
Schoolpop.com is a “web portal.” Go to www. Schoolpop.com and THEN click through to access your favorite e-commerce site, and the vendors will earmark between 2% and 10% of your purchase for Piedmont schools at no cost to you! 
     
Register now. Simply go to www. Schoolpop.com and register for "Piedmont Schools." Delete your individual vendor bookmarks, and go to www. Schoolpop.com first! 
Remodeling or Large Furniture Purchases     
     
Spend wisely and you can drive dollars to Piedmont schools painlessly. For instance:     
     
Pay for your Home Depot purchases with scrip bought from your school rep (see below for contacts). Not sure how much you'll need? We'll buy back or exchange any leftovers whenever you say so.
Pay for your Expo purchases (Home Depot's new high end furniture and major appliance stores in Emeryville, Concord and SF) with Home Depot scrip. If necessary, you can get a credit for any deposit you made, and then pay in full with scrip when your purchase arrives later.
Ask your contractor to pay for any Home Depot purchases with scrip you provide. Keep some on hand for those inevitable last-minute trips.
If you are a contractor yourself, call one of us to explore how you can use scrip in your normal business.  
If you are an architect, consider giving a copy of this page to any client you have in Piedmont! Pay for Macy's furniture and other purchases with Macy's scrip and earn 8% for your schools. If you charge it, we'll even deliver your bill and scrip payment to Macy's for you.
Pay for your Pottery Barn, Macy's, Williams-Sonoma, Hold Everything or Chambers furniture, accessory and appliance purchases with scrip. Stores are in Walnut Creek and San Francisco, and you can use scrip for their mail-in catalog.
Purchase goods on line with Amazon.com paper scrip by typing in the certificate number
